It is a big unit and I doubt it can be placed under the pedalboard because of its height (45 mm). It is a bit wider than a normal pedal, comparable with Behringer's Vintage Phaser and I placed on the board. Inside is a big toroidal transformer and all 5 outputs are independent and stabilized. It has two LEDs one for power and one for overload. It comes with 10 cables for powering pedals (length without jacks - 60 cm), one daisy with 6 jacks, one cable for doubling the voltage and one cable for doubling the current. So you can power even a 18V pedal, or another hungry device which requires 500mA. With daisy cable you are no longer limited only of 5 pedals, you can power at least two more pedals. The power unit is dead silent. None of my 5 pedals exhibits hiss, buzz or other kind of noises. Really, worth it any penny.

Best investment I ever made for guitar effects! No buzz at all! With this you find out which one of your pedals is bad. I literally threw away an old Tubescreamer because I identified it as the cause of problems with the signal. Afterwards, I tested all other effects with the old power supply and the this one and everything is better with this one!

Šum v podstatě neexistuje, možnost spojení výstupů pro dvojnásobný proud/napětí jsem zatím nevyužil. Můj celkový odběr je do 100 mA, takže se ani nezahřeje.

Vyšší váha (cca a 1 kg) proti konkurenčním produktům (cca 0,3 kg) mi nevadí, podstatné plus pro mě bylo, že uvnitř je toroidní transformátor. Nechtěl jsem moderní zařízení na principu "spínaného zdroje". Pokud by existovalo podobné zařízení od stejného výrobce s více výstupy než 5, asi bych volil ještě větší počet výstupů.

Plusy: funguje, jak má, zatím splnil moje očekávání, tj. především při zapojení efektových krabiček je absolutní ticho, nic nebrumí, nešumí, což dříve při napájení kombinací jednoúčelových levných napaječů 220 V AC/9 V DC a baterií byl problém.

Mínusy: pro někoho možná vyšší váha
