The Dove is richly and iconically ornamented. The body features multi-ply top and back binding. The dove-shaped rosewood bridge plate has two mother-of-pearl dove inlays. It is equipped with a compensated bone saddle, and both the nut and bridge pins are also made of bone.

The iconic Dove pickguard features a mother-of-pearl dove. On the headstock, Kluson® Waffleback tuners with metal Keystone buttons help ensure solid tuning stability. The headstock features a two-ply white and black truss rod cover engraved with “DOVE,” and the Epiphone logo and Gibson Crown are inlaid in aged mother-of-pearl. It features a Gibson-style “open book” profile, with the Inspired by Gibson Custom double diamond logo etched on the rear.

To meet the live performance and recording needs of today’s players, the 1963 Dove Reissue comes equipped with a built-in L.R. Baggs™ Element Bronze VTC preamp and under-saddle piezo pickup system, making it stage- and studio-ready whenever you are.
